Dangerous bulbs!!

We had one of these installed for approximately 6 years, so we assume it was near the end of its life when it started to smoke and burn, where the glass part of the bulb meets the base. We will not use these again, and will be going through the house to find and remove the rest of them.
Great deal; work fine

Bought 4 packs of them. One out of all 32 was bad; had them in for months now with no issues. Nothing else to say; really.
Beautiful

I really enjoy this bulb. The color is great - a nice white with no ugly yellow hue. A little slow to get to full brightness. Check out the new "micro mini" bulbs by Sylvania for something even smaller and with a faster start time.
