Too thin, too rough for my body.

I like most of the Seventh Generation products, but I cannot use this toilet paper--it causes itching and irritation for some reason. I have had to go with something else. I also, like another reviewer, do not put out Seventh Generation when I have guests. It truly feels like you are in a gas station in the middle of nowhere. It is also too thin to do the job and that defeats the purpose of using less.

Our TP of Choice!

This toilet paper has everything we are looking for:
~ No chlorine bleaching
~ Made from recycled paper, including at least 80% post-consumer
~ No colors or scents
~ No plastic in the packaging
~ Available in bulk
~ Strong and absorbent
It isn't the Charmin I grew up with, but that is actually a *good* thing, as it isn't nearly as linty. One roll lasts a long time as we don't find ourselves using 15 sheets at a time. The paper outer wrapper and cardboard tube are easily placed in our recycling bin, and we fill the big cardboard box with items for donation or use them for the kids to play with. |

| This paper is rough and thin and breaks apart easily. My husband will not use it. |
Guilt-Free Toilet Paper

| This toilet paper isn't high quality like the soft and fluffy ones, but it gets the job done. It's not flimsy, it's strong and doesn't clog up my toilet. What I love about this most is it's guilt free. I love supporting companies that do so much for the environment, and this company does it perfect. |
It's just toilet paper, people

| Some people might complain of the roughness of this toilet paper, but I think it's toilet paper, people, and you're just going to get poo on it. It is definitely softer than rest area toilet paper, but it's not going to be as soft as a luxury paper. I would compare this to Scott one-ply in terms of softness. It works just fine for my family and me. The best part is the fact that it's made from recycled material (why isn't all toilet paper?), which is exactly why I buy it. We have used it over the course of more than a year and have been very satisfied. |

| This TP is great! I've been using it for almost 6 years. The roll starts easily, it is eco-friendly (not bleached, made of recycled paper...) and fairly soft. I like that it has very little packaging, when bought in bulk, and that the packaging it does have is recyclable. |

| For many years, I have purchased recycled products for myself and my family. I like to use Seventh Generation products because they do what they promise to do and they are good for the environment. Toilet tissue is one of the Seventh Generation products I buy because, while it is good for the environment and it does the job it is meant to do, it is still soft (NOT like tissue paper or newspaper!). Buying a case of the toilet tissue from Amazon saves me money and by being on their regular buying program, it arrives at my door when I need it. Thank you Seventh Generation and Amazon! |
Does the job and saves the trees.

The two ply is sturdier than the one ply.
Made the mistake of ordering the one-ply. Got me whacked by 3 women sharing the same house (roll your eyes if you gotta). I figured simply pull out more tissue and make like two-ply. Nope - two ply or the sidewalk. Two ply it is.
You're paying a bit more but you're doing the environment much good saving trees to offset carbon emission. In my book - makes for better stewardship.
We ain't a Charmin household but we'd be curious about the 400 ply if it became available via Amazon.

In my search for high quality products from responsible companies at reasonable prices, this is a long standing favorite.
The 500 sheet, 2-ply rolls last a long time and get the job done. I have tried many other recycled toilet paper products only to find they fall apart or are so short or "fluffed up" they only make it a day in our household. These rolls fit on our regular holder and make it several days per roll. Seventh Generation's product is not quilted, but I have no complaints about texture.
Purchasing the product as the pack of 48 saves me time and money. Buying by the case brings the per roll cost down to a comparable level to other high quality brands. I've even gone so far as to calculate per sheet costs and this is the best value I've found. We have two bathrooms and I split the case between the two. Then I can forget about it for months.
Also important to me is the fact that Seventh Generation is one of the most responsible companies on the planet, not just for the environment, but for most aspects of corporate responsibility. They are constantly working to improve their products and seek out customer feedback.
I would recommend this product to just about anybody. |

| to minimize use so softness isn't really an issue and this is just fine. I like the world view, the paper packaging rather than plastic, Amazon's large carton and infrequent shipping due to large quantities. All in all, it meets my physical and environmental needs. |
