Product Description |
| Why our plastic products are so different. Thanks to our innovative green technology, Perf Go Green products are the first biodegradable disposable plastics to gain mass distribution across America. So now it's easier than ever to Go Green and make a difference. Our proprietary, natural eco-process starts by using post consumer recycled plastics which reduces plastic waste in the environment. We utilize eco-friendly application methods with proprietary plastic additives that are ASTM D6954 compliant. Our Go Green technology speeds up the biodegradation and our plastics totally degrade in 2 years returning to nature as water, carbon dioxide, and bio-mass. Even our box is made of 100% recycled paperboard. We like to think somewhere nature is smiling. A percentage of revenues from this product is donated to the Go Green 21.0 Foundation to fund Green Education initiatives across the U.S. |

| Best garbage bags I have ever used. Hopefully, Amazon will continue to carry these regardless of whether they are shown to be fully biodegradable. |
$6.99 at Sprouts

The price listed of $89 is ridiculous and indicative of someone trying to profit off of peoples good intentions..........just bought a box with 12 bags at Sprouts farmers market for $6.99.....4 boxes as in this offer would be less than $28.
The bags are great quality though just don't buy them from this seller. |
Only bags I buy!

| I really like these bags and using these bags make me feel much better about the environment than using Glad bags. They are great kitchen bags and they don't have the cool stuff Glad bags have but really....it's for trash! |
Plastic is NOT biodegradeable!

| I think the average consumer, and sometimes the slightly educated person, accepts false advertisement on a product finding themselves duped by unethical business & marketing tactics. I'm here to say that the word 'plastic' and 'biodegradeable' should NEVER been in the same sentence. Plastic will NEVER biodegrade... meaning it does not break down into organic compounds that can then be used by the natural lifecycle of our planet. What plastic does do is PHOTODEGRADE... and all this means is that the bag (or the infamous plastic bottle - my personal nemesis) you see today will eventually break up into small bits the size of a grain of sand. The plastic is STILL there, it still is hydrophobic, it still transports hydrophobic contaminants into our ground water, it still causes havoc in our marine environments... we solve absolutely NOTHING with a plastic/hydrocarbon-based product... especially this one that says it breaks down even FASTER than it should... which at the end of the day may create more problems for us at a much faster rate. Please do NOT fall for this product thinking your doing something good for mother nature! |

| these bags work as well as any other trash bags. i feel better about using them rather that other trash bags because they are better for the environment. i recommend these trash bags for use in every trash except a diaper pail. these bags do not lock in any odor. |

First bought these at Walgreens to try them out. High quality-never had an issue with leakage or breakage.
Very easy to use. Love the fact that they're biodegradable! |

| I have been using these bags now for about a year. They are strong and work just as well as ordinary bags. Worth the extra pennies for a more responsible product. 4 boxes at this price is very similar to the product you get in the grocery store. Thanks amazon for having such great choices. |

| I now cant go back to plastic! I have used them for 6 months now. These are durable, thick, hold up to heavy loads and have sturdy handles. And, they are no more expensive than plastic bags of the same quality. No excuse, go green with these bags. No sacrifice in quality/durability from plastic. |
THEY DO NOT FULLY BIODEGRADE - DANGER!
|
| Review Date: July 25, 2009 |
| Reviewer: Julian Jaynes, United States |
| These bags do NOT fully biodegrade. They instead degrade into small plastic particles which then can enter the groundwater. This is worse than the old plastic bags as they were at least contained in landfills. Plastic bags in land fills is not good, but they're not going anywhere. These degrade into the ground water and are then reintroduced, still as plastic, into the food supply and water systems. That is bad. Google the product and you can find out more. |
