Awesome stuff!

I have never waxed before - the whole idea sounded too intimidating, especially after hearing tales of ingrown hairs and damage to the skin. So, I was nervous the first time I used MOOM, but the experience was really good! I have extremely coarse hair and was doubtful that mere sugar and lemon juice could actually work, but it did! The pain was minimal, and everything washed up with warm water. I would recommend growing the underarm hair to at least 1/2 inch before attempting underarms. Also, the instructions say to be careful not overheat - this is important! I heated in the microwave longer than the instructions advised and burned a part of my leg. Overall, I am really happy with MOOM :-)
The Wait Is Just Too Long

Reviewer: San Tan,
I want to love this product.. it smells great, easy to use, easy clean up, organic and reusable strips. But it just doesn't compare to a wax (like sally hansen spa body wax, lavender). I waited for a week for hair to grow out and this product just doesn't take off all the hair, even when passing over an area numerous times 50% of the hair is still there. With all the good reviews here I assume this is because I am not letting it grow long enough, but I just can't go several weeks with hairy legs waiting for the hair to get long enough to remove (not sure how long that would take). I would give this less stars but I really like it (even without it working if that makes sense :/). It doesn't seem to irritate my skin at all like wax, probably because it doesn't have as strong of grip. If your not careful with wax you could also pull off skin along with hair. And the clean up is a breeze compared to wax, this product can be rinsed off with water... unlike wax that you practically have to scrub off with oil. But its just not as effective as wax... with wax practically as soon as you see hair, you can wax it off and don't have to go over and over an area. Although I love the idea of this product... I just don't think it will work for me. I don't want to wait weeks to remove the hair, I could barely stand the one week. :(

*Update July, 25, 2010

I gave this another try, waiting about 2 weeks this time. It is definitely more effective with longer hair but still did not get all of the hair, even with more then one attempt. My hair is different lengths and some wasn't long enough. I would say this time it got about 70% of the hair... so I would either have to shave to get smooth skin now or wait for the other hair to grow out and try again... I think I will wait and try again since I've waited this long. I'm leaving the same star rating because the wait for smooth skin with this product is a bit agonizing.
Sweet and Smooth!

I've only used one other warm wax product (gigi), but Moom was so much easier to use. Goes on easier, pulls hair better, and cleans up nicely. I'm saving hundreds a year by doing my own (and my husband's) waxing.
It really works!

As a self proclaimed "hairy Italian" I have gone through my fair share of hair removal products, including waxing and laser hair removal. I decided to try sugaring as a waxing alternative because waxing always leaves my sensitive skin red and angry. This product was wonderful! My roommates and I all used this to remove our own unwanted bikini hair. Well it didn't tickle, it was definitely less painful than waxing. I have tried other sugaring products that don't work well at all, but Moom is wonderful! I would definitely recommend it to anyone as it really works, is less painful than waxing, and is so easy to clean up!

This is a wonderful product that will last you many uses and really works!!
low cost, all natural pain reducer...

Reviewer: ac,
I love this product. I have sensitive skin and a low pain thresh hold so I came up with a great formula to reduce pain and red bumps associated with waxing:

I use lavender/rubbing alcohol spray (leaving it on for 5 minutes). Then I apply emu oil (google it) to reduce pain (leaving it on for 5 minutes) while I heat up the moom product in a pot of water on the stove. Then I go ahead and use moom hair removal. Then I use tea tree oil after to prevent red dots. Lastly I apply some lotion to finish. It took a while for me to figure this formula out, so for all out there looking for a low-cost, all natural skin care, here you go. It still hurts but the out come is perfect skin.
Great product

This is a great product. Product easily washes away with water. I did not experience the redness/bruises that I do with normal wax. Will use again!
Best stuff out there

This is the best hair removal system. Organic, no irritating chemicals, and less painful than other methods. Doesn't rip off your skin, just rips out the hair. Important to remember though is that it doesn't work when it comes into contact with water. Label says so, but remember that!

Also, personally, even though I use this stuff in bulk, I buy the smallest jar possible (6 oz?) Even though bigger sizes are cheaper, it's not worth it because after so many uses, the jar's cap gets sticky and it's tougher to work with. I'm always going to stick with the smaller jars.
Worked only on long hairs

Reviewer: Janmarbon,
I attempted to use it on my legs after two weeks of hair growth, it pulled out about 1/2 of the hairs. All I can figure is that two weeks of growth was still not long enough. And it took so long to do with only waxing below the knee. I'd either have to keep practicing and let the hair grow longer or stick to shaving. I'll stick to shaving for now since I can't stand leg hairs that long!

My bikini area was longer and it worked wonderfully. Pulled hair out with only a few stragglers left. It wasn't even that too terribly painful either. Clean up was a cinch too. I will definetly keep using it for that area.

I loved how easily Moom came off the strips. After each strip I would toss it into a sink of hot water and by the time I was done with all the strips, the wax had pretty much all come off.

Defintely will never use regular wax, I will always use Moom for waxing needs.
The perfect product

This is amazing stuff. To use on my face, I don't even need to heat it up. I just put a little on my face with my fingers, and then use the reusable strips. And the strips! They rinse out quickly and cleanly. The whole thing is virtually mess-free.

I really couldn't be happier.
WOW!

First, if you are looking for pain free waxing, it does not exist. What I can say about this product however is that it has been the ONLY product I have been able to tolerate in the bikini area AND if gives excellent removal the first swipe. I used it on my underarms and barely felt it and thought to myself "sure that worked..." What do you know? I pretty much got every hair on the first swipe! I can't see myself ever using another home waxing product. Just because something hurts more, doesn't mean it works better! It's water soluble so if you are messy like me, no big deal. SOOOOO worth a try, especially if you as throwing money away having someone else do it!
