It's a MIRACLE!

Reviewer: Benjamin Kalm,
This shower head is definitely a miracle worker! I live in an older house that has long suffered from lower water pressure. This becomes even worse during the summer when we open up the outdoor water lines to use the sprinkler system. Even though the sprinklers are off, it still affects the whole system.

The drop in pressure wasn't a huge deal for me given my short hair. But it was a huge issue for my fiance with her thick, long, hair. After we bought this shower head, her showers are much faster because she can rinse her hair much more easily. Even on the lower flow setting there is enough pressure. It also feels pleasant having the larger water droplets caused by the H20KINETIC technology.

Other people have commented on the lack of direction as to which setting is which. At least on mine, the lower flow setting has the side bar turned toward the water inlet. I can tell a difference between the two although there is not that much of a difference.
Vast improvement but not ideal

The old showerhead I replaced was awful so this is fabulous by comparison, but I am disappointed the adjustment lever doesn't seem to offer a good medium setting between pressure and amount of water used. I'm not complaining too much because it does a perfectly adequate job as a showerhead. It doesn't leak and functions effectively if not grandly.

I'm on a well, and don't have high water pressure, so I was hoping this would improve that. I've fiddled with the adjustment lever but the setting that is supposed to increase pressure seems to use so little water, I can't imagine trying to rinse my hair after shampoo. The opposite setting is sort of a flood, but at least you're getting a decent amount of water. I'd like to think a mid-range setting would be the best of both worlds, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Since I'm using this in the guest bath, it will be fine for infrequent use, but I wouldn't like it for my everyday shower.

I recommend this showerhead for those with strong water flow. Then the adjustments would be more noticeable and the higher pressure/lower water setting would be more effective than it is at my house with a well.
Very Nice, Does the Job

All I needed was a replacement showerhead (my old one had gotten as clogged as the Santa Monica Freeway) but when I started looking on Amazon I found this thing. It appeared to be nice and simple but promised a better showering experience. Having just installed and used it, I can tell you it delivers the goods. The pulsating streams of water are very pleasant, just about right. I've had this kind of showerhead in the past and sometimes the sensation was a bit too intense, but not this one.

I wouldn't say this gadget is the best thing since sliced bread, but it's not bad at all. It was easy as pie to install. One thing though is that the supposed adjustment lever on the side doesn't seem to do anything at all. At least I couldn't tell the difference. Doesn't matter that much, but that's why I gave it four stars instead of five. If you're going to include an adjustment, the adjustment ought to DO something. You get the impression someone said, "Look, it's too plain as it is, let's add some sort of doodad that makes it look a bit more impressive."

In any event, it's a very good replacement for an existing el cheapo standard showerhead.
Great Shower Head

I like it alot. Lots of pressure without the "hollow center." Nice all over coverage.
An excellent choice.

If you live in an apartment, take my advice. Keep your old shower head. Why? So that when you move you can take this little beauty with you. Chances are, you'll want to keep this one with you wherever you move as long as it lasts.
At the turn of a switch, it changes between two modes of operation.
1) Default mode: A strong but gentle torrent of water. Rather than cutting the stream into about 10 or 30 smaller ones and 'dispersing' them in a ring like many shower heads, this one breaks it down into hundreds of well scattered streams that drench you evenly and thoroughly.

2) Scrub mode: Breaking the streams down even further, this mode trades stream size for velocity. The end result, a high powered spray of tiny streams that blast away soap and dirt quickly and evenly. While this mode can actually sting you if you keep it focused on your skin, it's perfect for getting down to the scalp when rinsing your hair. Once again the dispersal pattern is even rather than just wide.

A solid long term investment and money well spent.
Great product, but over-hyped

Reviewer: James,
I read a lot of reviews for different showerheads and decided to try this one. The price was very decent. This unit has two settings. One setting is valve on top is in the direction of the water flow and the other is when the valve is perpendicular (90 degree angle) to the water flow. During the winter, I keep my house somewhat cool and keep my water heater at a moderate temperature. I noticed at the slower flow (1.8 GPM), that the temperature was adequate, but at the higher flow (2.5GPM) the water seemed to be cooler. During the summer, the lower setting is ok, but the higher flow setting is noticeable a improvement. If I am in a hurry, very greasy/dirty , or had a lot of sunscreen on, I always use the higher flow setting.

Bottom line is that the lower flow setting is good for winter use and the higher flow setting is better for summer time, for people who like some pressure when they shower. If you take really quick showers then just leave it on the high flow setting, and put it on the lower setting for long showers. (You can always leave it on the 1.8 GPM for the people who take really long showers and change it to 2.5 GPM for yourself!)
Works as intended

Wish I had bought it seven years ago....I assumed I was just stuck with low pressure from my shower due to having multiple water spouts in the shower, but this thing still pushes plenty of water even with my two other spouts. Will be getting another for the spare shower.
Made the shower usable!

I am floored by how great this item worked. I moved in with my best friend and he has a well and the pump for it is extremely weak. He always complained that he couldn't take a shower because it didn't work. After reading the reviews on Amazon.com I had to try it. The stream out of the NEW showerhead hits the back of the bathtub. Amazing!!! I love it!
Huge Improvement

Bought this to try on a shower with low water pressure and it works great! I tried a couple other heads and the water basically just leaked out, but this one gives a great feeling shower
Really cuts down on the amount of water

Reviewer: F. Marsh,
This shower head has a control for the amount of water it uses. I use the lower water setting and still the water feels great. Before getting this shower head, the water use to collect in the bottom of my tub because the tub was not draining fast enough and therefore there would be more tub rings to clean. The Delta head allows the water to drain at the same pace as it comes in. Even on the high water setting, it takes almost five minutes before any water can be seen as not draining completely. The only negative thing (not much of a negative) I can think of is that (because of the amplification action) more water splashed off of me onto the side walls of the shower than with the old shower head.
