| I bought this pan over a year ago, and it worked great for about 6 months or so. I ended up buying a small egg pan too cuz I liked the non-stickiness and the price. Well, I changed my mind when things started sticking like crazy and even with oil, I can't use these pans without some serious stickage. They're nice looking pans and they don't feel or look cheap. Handles are nicely shaped and attached very firmly---they don't get hot either. I'd give it more stars for that, but I feel the primary purpose of these things is to cook and I've given up on them! With time, their performance will stink. Don't bother! |
Great Product!

| Love this pan...so easy to clean. It also heats up quickly, but the handle stays cool. Would definitely recommend. |

At first we were very happy with this new, non-Teflon non-stick surface. I purchased 12 inch Cuisinart GreenGourmet 12 inch skillet for Christmas, and liked it so much we bought a second smaller skillet a month later. However, here we are 8 months after the initial purchase, and the pans have become virtually useless. At first, there was no visible change, but the non-stick properties started to fail after about 5 months of daily use. As time went on, the surface started pitting and small pieces have come off (possibly into our food?).
Keep in mind that we followed all the recommended care instructions, using only wooden or silicone utensils, and waiting for the pans to cool before cleaning them with a sponge (no abrasive materials).
Very disappointed. Save your money and look elsewhere for a Teflon alternative.

| I took care like it was recommended and still after a couple of month everything stuck to the pan. To expensive for what it is... |
Works for me

Excellent. I have the 8" and the 10" and they both work very well. Nonstick and easy to clean.

Best non-stick pan after years of duds

| I have had many disappointing experiences with non-stick. Some of the problems I've had: finishes that got scratched, bubbled, couldn't take high heat, couldn't go in the oven, things still stuck, browning and carmelization was pitiful, not to mention the safety issues. I was about to swear off non-stick forever, but I decided to break down and give this pan a try. It is a totally different animal (including the packaging) and I love it! The finish is so smooth and the performance is amazing. I get lovely browning when sauteing chicken, mushrooms, etc. Heat conduction is great, I can cook at a lower temp, and the handle does truly stay cool. I have a ceramic cooktop and some pans I have had didn't work well, even when they were supposed to. This one has been great. And I can finally go from cooktop to oven! I wish Cuisinart made this in a 14" size too. One final comment: I have read of some problems with the pans getting "sticky" after use. Another reviewer mentioned cooking sprays as the culprit. I have noticed they do seem to leave a sticky residue, so I don't use them anymore. The few times that happened to my pan I sprinkled a few tablespoons of baking soda in the damp, soapy pan and let it sit for about a half hour. I gently wiped out and rinsed with good results and no noticeable damage to the finish, good as new. Generally I use Ocello rinse clean no scratch sponges with great success on all my cookware. |
No regrets about this skillet!

I have never had a non-stick skillet that didn't need to be thrown in a short time.
These skillets are fantastic!!!!! I use high heat and brown meat patties twice a day in them. I have purchased 3 small, 1 large skillet and 1 sauce pan. All are fantastic. You'll love them!!!! |

| This beauty is my new best kitchen friend. Lovely heft and perfectly non-stick in a green way. Would give it a top rating and recommend it to anyone who does a lot of 2-people cooking. Just right for eggs, omelets, etc. |
After 5 months still a great pan

| I've been using this pan for 5 months and still good as new. The non-stick is great. I've not had the experience that others have had with it sticking after 2 months so not sure what that's about. I'm now buying another one since I love it so much. |

I bought this Cuisinart GreenGourment pan on Amazon.com - I saved $16.89 with buying it on Amazon. This is one of the nicest non stick pans that I have ever owned. I started cooking 20 years ago. I love the way it cooks every thing. You do not need any oil at all. Out of habit I think, I do use my olive oil mister for certain veggies, and white fish. I would recommend this pan hands down. Plus, it is a healthy way too cook. My husband even MADE a comment on how he enjoys using this pan when he cooks his eggs. He never comments on anything, unless it is great!
It sure has made a difference for him, he know cooks some food for himself.. I love this..lady's introduce your hubby's or partners to this pan.. who knows they may just cook a meal... |
