I had borrowed a Little Green Machine from a friend, albeit a very old one (maybe circa 1996?) & was EXTREMELY impressed with it's performance. This thing is a godsend & I will absolutely buy another one if this ever dies! I have a dog with behavior issues who has been trying his best to destroy my carpet. After using this little thing, you can see nothing except what appears to be fresh out-of-the-factory carpet! I cannot say enough about this! absolutely buy one!

Vacuuming may get the top dirt off, but I love the feeling of deep-cleaning.. knowing that your floors and furniture are REALLY clean. So I purchased the Bissell Little Green, for $79 from Walmart. Other stores had it for $99+.

It is extremely easy to fill up the solution/clean tank, and even easier to dump the collection tank. I really enjoyed using this product, and it really surprised me to see the collection tank completely black after deep cleaning my couches. Gross!!

It's works great in your car, too. Snow and salt in the winter makes my car filthy, it is so nice to easily clean it.

Only downside -- it is small and not ideal for large rooms. Also, it took 3 fillups of solution/hot water to clean my couch and loveseat. It empties rather quickly, which is kind of annoying.

I purchased this wonderful product = NO REFLECTION ON ITEM - from the person that Amazon lists as selling for 59.99. He lived near me and my husband picked the item up from the seller in a parking lot (WARNING NUMBER ONE) the item was in a new box...
He said it was tested once but NOTHING was included in the box!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS LISTED AS NEW but I have no proof of having purchased a new item with any of the protections this brings.
No warranty, no product info, no instructions, and I am NOT HAPPY.
For a few dollars more, I could have gotten it at Target

I love my Little Green Cleaner. It does a great job of getting out set in dirt. It's very portable. I can't wait to put it to the test on the mats in my car this spring after all the snow has melted.
My cat pukes...a lot.

One of my cats pukes on a daily basis. Yes, we have taken her to the vet and tried all the suggestions we've been given... anyway. I borrowed the larger push version my parents and decided I needed a small one to clean up the spots as they happen. I've found it easier to use than the 200 dollar push version and my carpets are spot free. This has made my life so much easier. The next best thing to my cat no longer throwing up all the time.

I often rely on customer product reviews for many items that I purchase so I wanted to leave feedback on this item because I am so happy with it. I have cats that often leave spots on the carpet (rarely the bare floor!). Whenever I use a bottled carpet cleaner it seems the spot will come up but then some time later a dark discoloration will appear. I recently had my carpets professionally cleaned which did remove all the dark spots. I was told that these spots were from detergent residue left after spot cleaning that would then attract dirt. The cleaning company actually recommended the Bissell machine. It works so well. I do leave it set up with water and cleaning solution as the instructions say that you can so that it is ready to go. I can clean a spot and rinse the machine out in minutes. Since I leave it set up I'm using cool water and it still cleans well. Some customers said that the sprayer was too wide but I find it's fine if you angle it down closer to the carpet. Doesn't overspray that way. I was ready to rip out my carpeting until having it professionally cleaned and now the Bissell machine will help me keep it that way. I highly recommend this machine.

I have the bissell green machine and love it, but it's too big for everyday spills and it's akward on steps. This machine is absolutley perfect for both. I can take it out, use it, rinse it out and put it away in ten minutes! I was planning to purchase the spotbot, but couldn't bring myself to spend $129 when I already have a full size cleaner...I am so glad I didn't. At $79 this machine is worth every cent.
Don't Even Think Of Buying This...

The negative reviews are right on the money. Drips dirty water....spits out chunks of pet hair instead of inhaling them...lots of fragile thin plastic....a horror to clean up...and lots more. Also, it'll take half a closet to store it. Just rent a professional machine occasionally.

This was purchased as a gift...I was told it would be used primarily for carpeted stairs...I was told it was light and easy to use...It only came with enough shampoo to clean one stair so be prepared to buy bissell shampoo...The owners review on the machine was positive...

I used it to clean a soiled high traffic area, as well as a few spot problems, on a rug in my dining and living rooms. It worked well, no problems. I had to learn, though, to be careful in dispensing, as I was using up the fluid too fast.
